Vendor Agreement
1. Purpose of Engagement
This agreement outlines the relationship between Valley Center Eats (the “Platform”) and you (the “Vendor”). Our goal is to promote local culinary talent while maintaining a high standard of service for our community members.
2. Listing Requirements
To maintain an active listing on our platform, Vendors must adhere to the following:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business information (Hours, Location, Menu).
- Use high-quality images that accurately represent the food being served.
- Possess all necessary local health permits and business licenses required by the County of San Diego.
- Notify the Platform immediately of any permanent closure or relocation.
3. Content Ownership
By uploading photos and descriptions to the Platform, the Vendor grants Valley Center Eats a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use said content for promotional purposes on social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
4. Quality Standards
We pride ourselves on featuring the “Best of the Valley.” We reserve the right to remove or suspend a listing if:
- There are consistent, verified negative reports regarding food safety.
- The Vendor repeatedly provides false information regarding their availability.
- The Vendor acts in a manner that is harmful to the reputation of the Valley Center culinary community.
5. Fees and Subscription
Standard directory listings are currently free for local Valley Center businesses. Premium placement and featured “Truck of the Week” spots may be subject to separate advertising fees, which will be communicated in writing prior to billing.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, the Vendor’s profile and data will be removed from the public directory within 48 business hours.
